Twenty-five years ago, Christopher Beha gave up on God and became a committed atheist. The former editor of Harper’s Magazine and an acclaimed writer, Beha’s intellectual journey took him through the two major atheist worldviews: scientific materialism and romantic idealism. In his new book, Why I Am Not an Atheist, Beha argues that faith preserves the best of both traditions while offering a complete and coherent picture of reality. In this talk, he will discuss his life-long engagement with enduring human questions.

On Monday, November 16, at 5 PM join the Morningside Institute and the Earl Hall Center for Religious Life as we welcome Christopher Beha for this talk in Earl Hall. Copies of the book will be available for purchase.
