Roman Perucki is chief organist of the cathedral in Gdańsk Oliwa. He is managing director of the Baltic Philharmonic Orchestra (currently constructing a new, modern concert hall, the Congress-Music Centre), the president of the society “Musica Sacra” and Society of Friends of the Cathedral in Gdańsk Oliwa. He contributed to the construction of new instruments in Gdańsk and its neighbourhood. He is the manager of the oldest organs in Poland, the International Organ Music in the Cathedral in Oliwa and the International J.P. Sweelinck Competition in Gdańsk, as well as other international organ-music cycles (in Gdańsk, Frombork, Jastarnia, Stegna, Morąg, Rumia, Żarnowiec).
