How will this movement impact the ability to move from conversation to action at all levels of society? What will it look like for community organizers and voters to hold systems of power accountable for racial and economic justice, and how can leadership at the federal, state, and local levels advance progress? And what more can we do at Columbia to further these goals? Panelists will include: Nina Alvarez, CBS Assistant Professor of International Journalism, Columbia University Midwin Charles, Founder, Midwin Charles & Associates LLC and political, legal and culture commentator Lurie Daniel Favors, Esq., Interim Executive Director, Center for Law and Social Justice, Medgar Evers College, CUNY Dennis A.
