Zeinab is a rising 2L at Columbia Law School where she focuses on issues in the criminal legal system, mass incarceration, and critical race theory. She has experience working with community-based organizations, local government, and philanthropy. She is guided by Islam’s profound emphasis on collective care, justice, and releasing people from captivity and confinement. Zeinab holds degrees from the University of Michigan and Yale University.
